According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on December 31, as reported by Cointelegraph, decentralized exchange Lighter conducted an airdrop worth $675 million in Lighter Infrastructure Tokens (LIT) to early participants this week, making it the tenth-largest airdrop in cryptocurrency history. Data shows that approximately 75% of recipients still hold the tokens, while 7% of recipients have accumulated additional LIT tokens on the open market.
The Lighter airdrop surpassed the $671 million airdrop by 1inch Network but remains below the $712 million airdrop by LooksRare in 2022. Currently, the largest airdrop in the crypto industry is still the $6.43 billion distribution by Uniswap in 2020.
